Loathings: Liars and Leftists

Let us rid ourselves of liars and dissemblers!

One thing I must admit to myself and to any others that are interested is that I have a number of deep personal loathings. These loathings may well get in the way of seeing the good in some of the people I loathe, so I must be aware of that problem and compensate for it.

So what are these loathings?

First and foremost, I loathe liars of all forms, and those who shade the truth or disguise the truth for personal advantage. I am thinking here of the likes of Obama, Bill Clinton and his wife for three examples. They practice the "tell you one thing (usually what you want to hear) and do the opposite" quite consistently. It seems to be a trait of many in the political field, especially on the left, to distort or hide the truth for leftist purposes. A further trait is making promises that they know they cannot keep, simply to convince the unwary that they are on their side. Total up how many Obama promises have been broken up to now.

The second group I loathe are those who, in their misguided mindset, wish to change our form of government towards collectivism in one or more of its guises: progressivism, secular humanism, socialism, or communism. Again, it seems that Obama and his cohorts are of this persuasion. These guises have three common characteristics, they lead to totalitarianism, they lead to a planned economy, and they lead to a Godless society, none of which I can possibly accept. The hallmark of such guises is the phrase "redistribution of (other people's) wealth."

The third group of people I loathe are the hypocrites that attack the religion of Christianity, while supporting Islam and its goals of world domination in the name of Allah, or at least allowing it the freedom to succeed and grow in our nation. On the one hand, they tear down our major national religious thrust, Christianity, and on the other hand they lend support to a most deadly enemy of Christianity, that of Islam, in the name of religious freedom. In my view, our religious freedom law is not meant to be a suicide pact. I believe it is true that most people in America do not know what Islam really stands for, or how extensive the threat to our way of life it represents.

When you have all of these sins working against you, as we do now under Obama, it is high time to change every one of the people in power.

Same-sex Marriage Passes in NY.

Slippery paths abound over the next 25 years or so!

Next up? Polygamy! Does anyone really find a compelling legal reason to bar polygamy? Several airline pilots, truckers, railmen, salesmen and many servicemen would welcome such freedom to marry in each city they are based in, not to leave out various Mormon and other sects that practice it now.

Then allow mixed marriages, such as two gay men and a woman, two gay and one straight man and a woman, or any of a number of other combinations, thus destroying the concept of the family.

Following that logically: forgetting about marriage and the family altogether, as many already do, and adopting the Islamic divorce rule of throwing three stones on the ground and muttering “I divorce you!” with each stone.

And then: let the State support, raise and educate the children, as Secular Humanists once proposed in writing (but omitted in later manifestos), thus creating a society fully trained in SM ideology (read universal communism).

Beck's Rally Rocks!

Two Comments on the Day

1. Crowd size estimates are politicized for the simple reason that they may foretell the political fate of the radicals in office. Since it has been speculated that for every citizen that shows up at a rally about 100 are wishing they could, Rally Size x 100 = Disaster for the Incumbents. A big cheer for that, even though the ostensible goal of the Beck rally was not political! I would put the size of the DC rally at about 300,000, which I hope represents 30 million voters against Obama!
2. For many years we had a proper, more livable balance of religion and secularism in the nation, but since more atheists and agnostics have found their voice and their organizations, such as the ACLU and The Humanist Society, the secularists have been on the rise. (It just may be that a few of them are posting here now!) Their main result so far seems to be to have created great disharmony where there had been little or none, to attack Christians wherever found, to advocate legislation that is counter to or subversive of the Constitution, to invent a community organizer and wishwashy, socialistic politico as worthy of the Presidency, to elect to Congress the likes of Pelosi and Reid, to pass unread legislation that will break the bank, and to run the deficit to the sky! Good job SH’ers! Go look back at #1 above.

Steering Us into Chaos

A few thoughts on where the left is taking us.

Some key themes the left seems to be carrying forward are:

1) Castigating conservatives with false accusations in a constant drumbeat of slogans;
2) Castigating Constitutionalists and rightists with the meme that the Constitution is out of date, an idea that I challenge most heartedly;

3) Castigating conservative radio talk show hosts for being...themselves! and,

4) At least implicitly, riding the "man is the measure of all things" meme, or in other words, atheistic Secular Humanism, materialism and moral relativism. But, I suppose they have to believe in "something" in order to understand anything, even if that something is dead wrong.

It is amazing to me that anyone can believe in some form of benign-but-authoritative world government, a major SH and leftist tenet that includes equal and democratic shares of power for immoral or amoral governments, ruling parties and national elites. There is no common cultural, religious, political, social, economic, military or philosophical basis for such a lash up, and it would most certainly ruin the sovereignty of our nation and our way of life. So why entertain this corrosive idea?

This idea, in turn, suggests that one must have a higher allegiance than to our nation---that is, to all of unwashed mankind and their leaderships (and not to God, of course!). This is perhaps the root of the belief in open borders for the US and amnesty for illegal immigrants, which is an impending disaster if Obama has his way.

The last two world government attempts, namely The League of Nations and the United Nations, have been failures in the large--a statement that has been well-illustrated elsewhere. Promoting more of the same is sheer folly! The over 200 governments around the world, their power elites, and a majority of their people are simply too intellectually, economically, culturally, politically and morally primitive or insular, or both, to play their expected altruistic roles in democratic or republican world governance at this juncture. The UN record provides all the proof needed for this assertion. For the backward nations to learn by doing in the UN is also rediculous when so many lives are at stake worldwide.

We do need mechanisms for controlling aggression, world domination movements (think Islam), genocide, piracy, open seas violations, wanton exploitation of resources, theft, and commerce, to name a few international law needs. Most of these needs can and should be accomplished by enforceable and monitored treaties between relevant nations for now. They can be backed up by the military power of the US and allied democratic Western nations, where the notions of democratic governance and justice are culturally and politically dominant. We should not concern ourselves with events in the interior of sovereign nations, or else there is no meaning to sovereignty. If asked to help by a legitimate government, however, that is a different thing, and such requests should be carefully considered.

Universal Everything!

Politics for the Future

It would appear that Obama will run in 2012.

It would appear that at least Romney or Palin will run against Obama, if not one of a few others that pop up.

Whether Palin emerges as a competent conpetitor or not, if she gets the Republican nomination, she gets my vote, since, after tons of reasoned analysis mixed in with several “I told you so’s”, I see Obama and his ilk as a far, far worse threat to the nation, czars and all! One ecomomic analysis has our 2019 national debt at $32 Trillion with all of the Obama stuff properly accounted for.

Of course, I would rather have Romney as President and cheer him on as he deconstructs the Obama era, and constructs a new, sound conservative era for our country. Out with change for the sake of unions and cronies, and in with change we can understand item by item, and be able to judge each of them in turn to be good.

Democratic Utopianism is apparently far from dead in this nation. Let me see, by 2012 we may find ourselves with a government that supports:

Universal world government. It is still championed, despite the preponderance of evil nations.

Universal World Constitution. Here is their chance to rid the US of that pesky Constitution that keeps limiting things they want to do… for the people.

Universal Healthcare. It is on the table now.

Universal Education is very likely not far behind; free through college. There is quite a stimulus here for the building industry.

Universal Welfare is coming back under many disguises, such as earmarks, stimuluses and the like, and eventually out in the open.

Universal Housing had a rough beginning, but they are working on it. The concept of a no-payback mortgage seems to make sense. Then there could be no defaulting! Here is yet another stimulus for the building industry!

Universal Retirement Funds better than Social Security will be in the mix. Let's all retire to Hawaii.

Universal Insurance covering, well, everything from life to autos to housing, to health, to…you name it! Very high premiums, enforced membership, long waits for settlements and low payouts would be par for Government-run operations.

Universal Food and Agriculture Management will ensure enough to eat for the world–hopefully. Here comes rationing!

Universal Loans for any old purpose, guaranteed by the US Government, will ensure that the entrepreneural spirit never dies. Maybe it will be on the Korean System where each family member gets three chances to establish himself in a business funded by the family (in our case, the Feds).

Universal Correctness of Speech and Hate Control will ensure employment for just about every other person in the nation–Dems–to watch over us and report– 24/7.

Universal Unionization Act will make us all joiners, else there will be a penalty of $10,000 and an 8-year jail term. Another big immigration employment boost here–a lot more jails to build!

Universal Immigration and Open Borders Act. Y’all come!

Universal Environmental Controls Act. This will make it very difficult for Repubs to buy, build, or operate any kind of business, and will extend Government control over every aspect of business in general.

Note 1: To my children: After 2020, invest in the building industry!

Note 2: Do it in Hawaii!

Note 3: Cancel the first two notes! The nation will be totally broke far before any of these Utopian stimuluses (stimuli?) take effect.

It is Good if a Majority Says So!

NORMALIZATION

Rules for social behaviors are not the responsibility of a majority.

The idea that a majority “normalizes” a given behavior seems to me to be pure moral relativity, where the crowd’s behavior defines the good and the bad. This is as opposed to moral absolutes, where either a religion or a government, or even an atheist group, defines for all a moral code to be followed, and sets forth clear rules for social behaviors. Many aspects of the moral code are thus found to be incorporated into the laws of the land.

If moral degeneration takes place in a society and the established moral code or the laws are flouted by the majority of citizens, what is the proper response? Should the code or laws be changed to reflect the changing behavior of the crowd, or should they be more strongly enforced for the greater good?
Not reinforcing the existing codes and laws opens the door for flouting other rules of behavior as well in order to let the code or law follow the preferences of the citizens.
The fear this creates is one of supporting nihilism and hedonism, and eventually evolving a society with few rules and few unacceptable behaviors.

The syndrome of: “well, just one more little change” to the code and all will be well, is an exceedingly slippery slope. To me a moral code that has been fashioned by both wise souls and by experience over centuries is an organic whole, such that little modifications here and there may well unravel that wholeness, and hence unravel significant behaviors of the society.

For those that believe in God-given moral strictures, tinkering with the moral code to please the crowd is a flat out sin.

Atheists III

Sir: I am far too lazy to go pull out the references by page and paragraph. Either ignore what I say, believe it, stay confused, or go look it up for yourself. Two whole books attacking Christianity, and two showing why it is under attack and by whom. I am not debating these statements.

Dominion Theory is so far right as to be off the scale, just as the Far Left and SH is off the scale the other way. Extremes are are a plague on the body politic.

Bush lost it for me in that matter of amnesty, although I do not make him an atheist or leftist. I was referring to the number of Democratic and some Republican supporters for amnesty, which fits the profile of SH adherents, and the numbers of them in Congress now. I make the claim that Left = SH = the new elite, atheistic, socialistic/communistic home.

If you have read Marx, you would also know how he proposed to install the new socialism--by destroying the existing government and social order, then growing a new generation of Socialistic Men out of the ruins. Relaxing moral standards as being relative, promoting porn and divorce, removing Christianity from view, championing non-discrimination for every so-called disadvantaged collection of people, pushing multiculturalism as opposed to a synthesis, pushing diversity instead of assimilation, touting gay marriage, and always attacking the government for literally everything that happens, looks like such a trend to me, especially when you see the SCOTUS and Fed Courts legislating from the bench, and the Dems (Hillary) arguing for direct democracy, which is not going to happen.

Such Leftist Democratic putsches are dividing our nation when it need not be divided at all. Why are they doing this? The New Socialism/Communism, with a twist.

After thought: championing centralization of government is yet another socialistic direction that is rabidly supported by the SHers, such that sooner or later just about everyone will be beholden to the government for their living. Disarming the public fits in very well here too, so that the public cannot rise up in arms to stop this treachery.
