Maynard Ferguson

Louis Armstrong

My list of great clarinetists is shorter:

Benny Goodman
Pete Fountain
Sidney Bechet
Woody Herman
Artie Shaw
Acker Bilk

It is an indulgence in memories to replay the best of the best, but these musicians played happy music, which is something missing in today's world, I believe.
